Roofing Services for Your Home

We have been roofing since 1995, and the work has always come down to the same few things: a dry deck, flashing that holds and an attic that can breathe. Our services cover roof replacement, roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair, gutters and metal roofing. Every new roof installation we complete carries a no-leak guarantee. If you are not sure which service fits, start with an inspection and we will tell you plainly what your roof needs.

How We Work on Your Roof

A roof does more than keep rain out. Built well, it keeps heat from soaking into your attic and lets moisture escape, and you feel that in the house every afternoon.

Ventilation checked on every job

We look at soffit intake, ridge and box vents and whether insulation is blocking airflow at the eaves. A roof that breathes properly runs cooler, which can take some strain off your air conditioner and helps shingles last longer.

Materials chosen for heat and wind

We talk through shingle colors and reflective options, underlayment types and metal panels, and what each does for attic temperature. You get a straight comparison, not a push toward the most expensive line.

An honest repair-or-replace answer

When a repair is the sensible fix, that is what you hear from us. When the plywood flexes underfoot or whole slopes have shed their granules, we show you the photos and explain why a patch would only last a season or so.

Care for your property

Tarps go over flower beds and shrubs, and the driveway is protected where the dumpster sits. At the end of each day we sweep for nails with a magnet and leave the yard tidy.

Line-item estimates

Your estimate lists tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, vents and permit separately. You can see exactly what you are paying for before any work is scheduled.

How a Roofing Job Runs

From the first phone call to the final sweep, you know what is happening and when.

  1. 1

    Phone call and visit

Describe the leak, the ceiling stain or the storm that has you worried, and we agree on a visit time that suits your day. The call gets things moving; the visit gives us the facts.

  2. 2

    Inspection and photos

We walk the roof, check the attic for ventilation and moisture, and photograph flashing, vents and any damage. You see what we saw.

  3. 3

    Written estimate

We go through each line with you, along with material options and what they mean for heat and lifespan. There is no pressure to decide that day.

  4. 4

    Install day

Tarps and ground protection go down first. We strip and dry in the roof in workable stretches, so fresh underlayment covers the deck before the crew leaves each evening. Most replacements on a typical home take one to three days, weather permitting.

  5. 5

    Inspection and cleanup

After the permit inspection passes, we do a final magnet sweep and walk the finished roof with you.

A Roofing Company That Takes Its Time Up Top

Roofing Macclenny works on homes in Macclenny and the neighboring communities. We focus on the parts of a roof most people never see: the underlayment, the flashing at walls and chimneys, the vents that let hot air out of the attic. Those details decide whether a roof leaks in ten years and how hard your cooling system works every summer.

We would rather explain than sell. When you call, you get a calm conversation, a careful visit and an estimate you can read without a translator. If your roof only needs a small repair, that is what we will recommend.

What Moves the Price of a Roof

No two roofs cost the same, and we would rather explain why than hand you a number with no context. These are the things that shape your estimate. We go over each one with you at the visit.

Every estimate is free, written line by line and comes with photos of your roof. Financing is available for larger projects, and we can explain how it works when we sit down with your estimate.

Size and pitch
Square footage sets the material count, and steeper slopes take more time and safety setup. Hips, valleys and dormers add cutting and flashing work.
Material choice
Architectural shingles, reflective shingles and standing seam or exposed fastener metal each carry different material and labor costs. Some cost more up front and less to cool your home over the years.
Decking condition
We cannot see every sheet of plywood until the old roof comes off. Soft or rotted decking gets replaced, and your estimate shows the per-sheet cost in advance so there is no surprise.
Ventilation upgrades
Adding ridge vent or opening blocked soffits is modest work during a replacement and much harder later. We price it as its own line so you can decide.
Old layers underneath
When a previous roofer left an older layer in place, stripping both adds labor on tear-off and extra weight in the dumpster.
Permit and inspection
A full reroof requires a permit. We pull it, schedule the inspection and include the fee in the estimate.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Is the post-storm inspection really free?

Yes. After high wind or a heavy storm, we will come out, check the roof and attic, and photograph any damage at no cost. You decide afterward whether to file a claim or have any work done.

Will you deal with my insurance adjuster after a storm?

Yes. On storm damage claims, our team coordinates with your adjuster directly. We hand over our photos and measurements, can be on the roof during the adjuster's visit, and walk through what we found. Coverage is the adjuster's call, and we keep you updated as the claim moves along.

Should I repair my roof or replace it?

It comes down to the roof's age, how far the wear has spread and whether the plywood underneath is still firm. A cracked pipe boot or a handful of lifted tabs calls for a repair. Bare patches where granules have washed off, curling across a slope or leaks that keep showing up in new places usually make replacement the better use of your money. We show you photos either way.

Will a new roof lower my cooling bills?

It can help, though we will not promise a number. Better attic ventilation and a more reflective shingle or metal roof reduce the heat that builds up under the deck. How much you notice depends on your insulation, ductwork and how your home is shaded.

Do you offer a warranty?

We provide a no-leak guarantee on all new roof installations. We will go over what it covers when we review your estimate.

Is metal roofing noisy or hot?

Installed over solid decking with underlayment, a metal roof is about as quiet as shingles in rain. Lighter and coated finishes reflect a good share of the sun, so the attic below often runs cooler than under dark shingles.

Do you offer financing?

Financing is available. We can walk you through the options on the phone or during your estimate visit.
